Career Path
He started his career as a journalist at Mathrubhumi in Kochi in 1995. He was well expert in cricket and football news and worked as a senior sub-editor at Mathrubhumi.
In 2015 he resigned from Mathrubhumi to work in a Kochi-based firm titled Mangalam Publications.
From January 2021 he worked as a sports journalist and covered more than 400 ISL games, 10 Santhosh Trophy National Football Championships, and National International Cricket matches including Duleep Trophy, Deodhar Trophy, and Ranji Trophy.
His commentary style is very enthusiastic and energetic and also included dialogues from movies.
In 2012 he started a sports commentator career covering Celebrity Cricket League in 2012. He was the leading commentator in the ICC Cricket World Cup in 2015.
He was the first person to complete 200 matches as an ISL commentator and commented for ICC Champions Trophy in 2017.
In 2018 he commented on the FIFA World Cup in Russia and it was the first Malayalam commentary of a FIFA World Cup. In 2019 he did commentary for the AFC Asian Cup 2019.
