Surabhi Lakshmi gained the first rank in BA Bharatanstyam from Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady. And completed post-graduation in theatre arts from Mahatma Gandhi University. She joined at Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit for completing Ph.D. in performing arts.

She became familiar among people through the character ‘Pathu’ in the Malayalam comical television series ‘M80 Moosa’ which premiered in Media One.
Later she appeared in stage shows, television shows, web series, movies, etc. she won many awards and recognitions for her best performances.
