Early Life and Career
In 2000 he was selected for the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore. He attended a training session with MRF Pace Foundation. On 3rd December 2001, he made his test debut in a home series against England. His test bowling average is 51 runs for a wicket.
In 2009 he played for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League. He won gold and silver medals in the high jump at junior state-level track field and tournaments.
He made his ODI debut against West Indies on 29th May 2002. He took 5 wickets in both test matches and ODIs.
